The day dawned bright and sunny, and I crawled out of bed feeling all ick. I hadn't slept well, for the second night in a row. After a mug of chai, and a bacon butty I was feeling a little more human. Kindly keep the sarky comments to yourselves, I know you lot too well. :)
I got dressed (apple green top and black embroidered skirt) and off I went to the hairdressers. n the way there, I met someone I haven't seen in quite a few months. He never seemed to blink, nor did he make any comment about how I looked. Oh, yes, I must remember, he's a man, he's not going to notice...
Dashed into Sainsburys and the home for a quick lunch of steamed asparagus, before dashing into Manchester.
I wasn't in Manchester for a leisurely shopping trip, although that did enter into it, in a small way. I was going to look at cute men wearing latex. :) Latex 101 were doing a clothing launch at MUD.
There was a food market on in Piccadilly Gardens, so ended up buying so rather nice Cumberland Sausage, and some Lamb and Mint Sausage. Accidentally spent more than £20 in Lush and was given a free goodie bag.
At MUD I was presented with a glass of champagne and shown through to the dungeon. Its actually under a railway viaduct, so there is the occasional rumbling of trains overhead.
As befits someone of my status, I sat as normal on the floor at the feet of a domme who engaged me in conversation. After the fashion show and she got up, she scritched my head and neck and called me cute.
*mew* =^,^=
On inspection the clothing looks well made, and I did have chat, and maybe, just maybe, the plans are formulating about getting them to do a skater skirt. Now they don't generally do female attire, but are open to ideas. So, we are going to be knocking things around by email.
I did have an amusing incident there when I went to the loo. The loo doesn't have a lock on the door. One of the cute latex clad guys came in just as I was standing with my back to the door with knickers round my ankles... He rapidly backed out apologising profusely. He was so sweet, I almost wanted to bring him home and keep him as a pet.
Somehow on leaving MUD, I made another accidental purchase, a couple of rolls of bondage tape and a pinwheel.
By this time it was getting towards 4:45pm, and I really don't like catching the 5:24 on a Saturday as it is normally standing room only from Piccadilly right through to Knutsford. So I wandered through Next idly browsing and ended up trying on a purple skirt and the top in the picture. Yes I did buy both...
The train I caught (6:24pm) wasn't overly busy on leaving Piccadilly, but from Altrincham it was doing a good impression of a rush hour tube train as it picked up a load of cricket fans going home from the test match.
Alice.
