Just phoned the bank. Now as usual there were the "security" questions. I was however, faced with the stupidest one yet:
"What month and year did you open your account with us?"
My response: "I can't tell you that off the top of my head."
I know it was sometime during '97, but that's as close as I can get. On the other hand, their records may show the date I got them to change my name and gender markers on the account.
