But I protest. Not as badly flawed as some such things but still
- it asked where i live. Why? Can it make me more or less nerdy? Ah! I thought, it'll be so it doesn't ask me any stupid halfwitted questions that assume i'm a pubic wig.
Except of course it does.
- it does pretty well at not asking follow-up questions without allowing you to re-assert your initial answer if your initial answer makes a follow-up question meaningless. But they missed several. So I had to go back and pick one at random.
Either way, Jeopardy *is* dumb, and so is any population which regards it as intelligent broadcasting material. Go watch "QI" instead, you may learn something.
Oh - and - I *am* a big geeky SciFi fan. As the test would have discovered if it had asked *any* questions about SciFi instead of Startrek, starwars, and spiderman. That 300 page book (actually over 1000) is SF (recently written) and when I finish it I have a 25 year old SF novel series awaiting my attention (Orson's follow-up volumes to Ender's Game).
I have in excess of 250 SF books in my in-tray, due to buying out James Hurwitt's entire SF library. It's in france, for when I'm sufficiently unbusy to enjoy it properly.
