Highlights: Employed contractor who knows what he is doing, which is a huge improvement on the fuckwitted assistant I was forced to employ.
Lowlights: Meetings with engineering managers who haven't got a fucking clue about IT.
Status: Fucked up beyond belief.
Issues: Production manager who thinks he is God.

It was suggested to me that maybe this should have been friends only.

However, I've always tended to speak my mind, and I see no reason to change. If this results in me getting sacked then they are the ones who are going to be the biggest loosers, because:

1. the assistant hasn't got a sodding clue.
2. there is no system documentation, as I inherited none (18 months ago), and have been so understaffed and overworked that I haven't had time to document the systems.
3. there is no such thing as internal communications.

This means that they will be fucked up beyond belief, should I depart in the near future.

add to that the appalling discourtesy of people who don't get back to potential suppliers
