It's quite a while since I last updated my LJ. It could be said that it has been a fairly quiet time in my life, and I'm now feeling more settled than I have for quite some time.
I have now been in the current job for 9 months, and have had continual excellent feedback from the managers and other staff at work. Unlike from my previous boss, may he go to hell in a handbasket. Maybe, that was because he felt that his position/authority was always under threat? But do I care? No not really, but it just confirms what had been said to me frequently off the record.
This year for the first time, I'll be working ov the hols, as I need to get 2 new servers in place. It has given me the opportunity to give
laconizein a couple of days at the 'coal face' in business.
Two things of note have happened:
Today: Had a good long walk down the Weaver. It was good to just get out in the fresh air. It was nice a cold, with a mix of snow and ice under foot. Finished off with a couple of pints of good ale ('It looks like rain dear' fron the Storm Brewery in Macclesfield) in my local - the Freemasons Arms in Northwich.

Two things of note have happened:
- I apper to have aquired a second motorbike, this one being a BMW K100RS, which is ideal for the commute to work once the weather gets a bit better.
- Have had a good long chat with Mother, and things are looking up on that score. She now accepts me for myself, and not what she expected me to be.
