ION, I've a massive headache and have spent most of the evening unexpectedly dozing.

Sadly the headache is still there, but adding into the mix is feeling dizzy and the right side of my face feels weird – sort of numb like when a local anæsthetic is wearing off.

Bath
curl up on sofa
listen to music/read/snooze/whatever

You haven't just stopped taking some sort of medication, have you? That weird face feeling is something I've had as a 'withdrawal' thingy.

Medication is unchanged. I do suffer with trigeminal neuralgia, on that side of my face. It wasn't that though, but as the 5th cranial nerve is compromised in some way it could well play some part in the odd feeling.
