Right I'm now curled up on the couch at my older sisters place.
Woke up late, so dashed to brekkie. After which I just had enought time to get packed and drop my bags off at reception before the 'Mathematics of the Discworld' talk by Ian Stewart. This was a superb talk, although to get the full befit of it a little knowledge of maths was required.
From there it was a dash to The Dysk for the trial of Lord Vetinari on a charge of tyranny. I'm not going to try to give a full report on this, as I'm sure that it will be done better elsewhere by someone else. The Patrician (Stephen Briggs), was both accused and Judge. Even the testimony of the Creator (pTerry) failed to sway the jury (the audience) if favour of conviction.
I followed this by attending an extremely interesting talk by Lionel Fanthorpe on the Mysteries of the Templars.
A visit to the coffee bar followed and a general chat with a few conventioneers, including Lionel ensued. Shortly after that I departed for the station. Unfortunately, I having made prior arrangements, was unable to stay for the closing ceremony.
