I've just done something that has needed doing for quite some time. I've finally gone through the old clothes.

Sorting through them it raised a couple of questions:
1. Why did I keep that, it's tatty.
2. Even if I lost enough weight to wear that again, I wouldn't want to, it's vile.

This reduced about 16cu ft of folded clothes down to about 8 items. These are items that either fit, or will fit once I've lost a bit more weight.

Now 'ere's a thought, are there any organisations that take old clothes for ragging these days?

there are clothing banks at our local Sainsburys, but I have no idea what they do with them - whether they recycle them as clothes, or rag 'em up.

If they are run by Oxfam, they just want salable stuff.

Everyone I've looked at (quickly) online just says 'contact your council'. I may end up having to do that.
