Finally...

Sometimes FreeCycle works well, and everything goes smoothly. Other times however, it turns into a bit of an annoyance. Three times by different people I was let down over the collection of my old fridge. Only one of the three had the decency to let me know they weren't going to collect.

On re-offering I got an email this morning, and this time it was collected, so now I can make (a no doubt feeble) attempt at getting the house tidy again. I am slightly embarrassed though — it is probably a good idea not to have left a collection of floggers, and crops in full view in the hall. :O

I wouldn't worry about it; many years ago I lived in a flat and my downstairs neighbour was a sparky old lady who was still active on CB Radio and had a leather whip displayed on the wall in her hallway :)

We used to have a leather bullwhip hanging on the back of our bedroom door... I "forgot" to remove it when the landlord came to do an inspection. ;)
