I decided last night to have a take away, this is not unusual for a Friday night. So, I nipped out rather late (9:45) to get it. Popped into one of the local curry emporia and ordered a Lamb Jalfrezi and Garlic Naan.
As usual a very nice tasting curry it was. However, it damn near put me in hospital.
Within a few minutes of finishing it, my legs started to itch, which spread to my arms and face and hives started to appear on my forearms. I quickly dosed myself up with antihistamines. When it didn't seem to be getting worse than that, I retired to bed.
After a not overly restful night when I finally crawled out of bed this morning, I was looking rather pink and itching all over. I was also feeling a bit woozy, so I took another antihistamine pill and retired back to bed, to emerge a short time ago feeling slightly more with it. However, I'm still pink and itchy.

Although my allergy is restricted to "fast acting stomach troubles" rather than hives and similar, it's definitely allergy not intolerance as antihistamines mean I can "get away with small amounts" whereas no antihistamines means "can't get away with any"
