Manc Meet: proposed for 18th November 2006

It is proposed to have a Manchester AFPmeet on Saturday the 18^th November. All afpers welcome.

This is primarily to celebrate the birthday of mpettitt and the official change of name of oh_pooh.

Date: Saturday 18th November 2006
Time: 3pm onwards, plan to eat at around 6pm at the pub.
Location: The Pitcher and Piano,31-33 Lower Mosley Street, Gt Bridgewater, Manchester, M2 3WS. It is right next to the Bridgewater hall in the centre of Manchester, easily accessible by bus,tram, train etc.
Directions: Please visit the website multimap and enter the postcode M2 3WS and hit 'find'. This will display a map showing roughly where it is. But landmarks to look out for are the Bridgewater hall and G-mex exhibition centre. There are steps/sloping paths down to the pub from the pebble-shaped sculpture in front of the Bridgewater hall (opposite G-mex).
Crash Space: I am able to offer limited crash space - but I live a fair distance from Manchester(1hr local train +15min walk). If anyone else can offer space, please let me know via email (afp@welshcob.plus.com) and I'll add a note here.

I don't know if I'll be able to attend, as my flight back to .nl leaves from Liverpool around 19.00. But if there is time, I'll certainly poke my head around the door for a while. :)
