Ow! [FX: much swearing]
Picture if you will, someone attempting to board a train, and as they step onto it going face down in the vestibule.
That someone being me, and doing it not once but twice. Such that my knees are now covered in cuts and grazes. According to Neil (work colleague) they are now as battered as his 3year-old daughters.
How has it happened? Well I think that as I step onto the train my toes are going above the step and the toes of my sandals are going below the step. With the inevitable result - THUD!. The steps on the new Transpennine 185s are very thin...
