Been asked a few times today so…
The headpain is still with me, however I've not had any of the really really bad stabbity things for a day or so, which is a distinct improvement. Last night I realised that I've got much better tactile sensation than I've had for a very long time, and that my sense of smell is a little sharper.
I do still need to sleep loads, but I suspect that some of that is due to the side effects of the drugs.
So, things are improving slowly. I was told by the GP that it may take up to two weeks for the full benefit of the carbamazepine to be achieved. I'm now playing a wait and see game. But I'd like to see this nagging overall headpain to go as well.
