Life is a bitch (sometimes)

One must say that the last few months has been fairly shitty. :( Not just redundant, but picked up a horrid cold which has re-occured at least twice in the last 6 weeks. I'll eventually get over it.

The big downside to the cold is that it saps my energy, and makes me want to sleep all the time. ATM, I'm starting to feel a bit livelier, so maybe it is on the wane (again) :).

On the plus side I have bought a new (to me) motorbike, a Suzuki GSF600 Bandit. Also had a little win on the lottery, which means that I'm secure financially for a while.

That however, doesn't mean I don't need another job, because I do. Of course, the Xmas holidays haven't helped in the job search, but things are now picking up.

Why am I still up?

Well, it seems that after 9 years my news server has expired. :-(

And as I have a batch of spare hardware I thought I'd rebuild it tonight. This has turned out to be a mistake. Oh well, I think I'll leave the mess until the morning.

Well the news server is back up and running.

I now appear to have to put 2 machines together for new clients. At least that will bring in a few quid.

At this point before (in no particular order):

1. Putting new taxdisc (and holder) on the bike


2. Starting work on the first machine


3. Cooking Sunday lunch

I think I'll have a soak in the bath.
