iPods use a 1.8" disk AFAIAA. A 30GB is about £60. A replacement battery off eBay generally has the instructions and tools to dissect the beast.

Oh, mentioning beasts, reminds me that in a couple of weeks it's off down the Wickets to collect a qtr of beasty. *Yum*...
